Air pollution remains a critical global health threat, contributing to over 8 million deaths annually and disproportionately affecting vulnerable populations. In this symposium, The Clean Breathing Institute (TCBI) presents new insights from a global study on healthcare professionals’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding air pollution and respiratory health.

The session highlights the urgent need for clinical integration of air pollution advice, identifies key competency gaps, and proposes actionable strategies to empower healthcare providers and patients. By fostering awareness, education, and collaboration, this symposium supports TCBI’s mission to reduce the impact of airborne aggressors and promote clean breathing for all.
